I am always looking for motivated and creative students who are interested in careers in wildlife biology and public health with academia, state and federal natural resource and public health agencies, and not-for-profit institutions. Prospective students should have an interest in quantitative analyses, molecular bench work and field work. My lab is highly diverse and inclusive and prospective students must be enthusiastic about fitting in to a fast-paced, culturally diverse lab. My home department is Wildlife Ecology and Conservation (WEC), but I also have faculty appointments in School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE) and the Department of Environmental & Global Health (EGH) and advise students through those programs as well.
I prefer to begin dialogues with prospective students at least 9 months before the application deadline. Please send me an email that describes your research interests and career goals along with a cv to firstname.lastname@example.org.
